Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

A single mobile stone measuring 7 mm in the gall bladder may not require surgery in every patient. A single stone in gall bladder may be seen in almost 10% of the population and many people are not aware of it. Surgery is only indicated when the patient has pain and discomfort after taking meals or is clinically diagnosed as having jaundice due to the gall stone. You may adhere to strict dietary fat intake control and take medications for a while.
