Are There Any Pills For The Treatment Of Genital Warts?

Any new drug treatment for genital warts in form of a pill? or topical creams that really work? (besides removal by surgery. I know I can't get rid of the HPV.. however microscopic warts on the scrotum make it impossible to be active because even with a condom this disease will spread.. Also does my HPV virus classify as a concern to woman to cause them to get cervical cancer? (My strain being warts) especially if I find some woman who has HPV?

Hello friend,

I have read your query and understood your concern.

There are various treatment options for genital warts depending on the size and site of warts.

Most commonly used topical agents include imiquimod and Podowart.

Imiquimod can be applied at home but podowart is applied by dermatologist as Opd procedure.

Besides this, other options are removal by radiofrequency or surgery.

AS such there are no oral effective therapy for warts.

You may discuss this with your treating doctor.
