Oxetol contains 'Oxcarbazepine' as an active ingredient. It works by stabilising the electrical activity of brain. It is used for the treatment of partial seizures and generalized
tonic-clonic seizures.
Side effects which could be associated with its intake include: Shaking, Loss of memory, Low white blood cells, Lack of interest, Sensation of whirling, loss of balance and Low serum sodium level.
Torleva contains 'Levetiracetam' as an active ingredient. It works by decreasing the abnormal excitation of the brain. It is used for the treatment of partial onset seizures, seizure that affects the entire brain as well as involuntary muscle jerk in people with
epilepsy.
Side effects encountered with the use of this medication include: Aggravation of
depression, Hair loss,
Vertigo, Aggression, Anxiety and
Constipation.
These side effects mentioned are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side effects may be rare. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the above side effects, especially if they do not go away.
