Hi.
I am fine, thanks.
Finast (
Finasteride) is prescribed for the treatment of hair loss.
By increasing
testosterone levels in the body, it increases hair growth on the scalp. The effect of finasteride on the scalp will only last as long as the medicine is taken. When it is stopped, the hair will be lost gradually.
The most common side effects of Finast include decreased interest in sexual intercourse,
erectile dysfunction, loss in sexual ability, desire, drive, or performance. It can also cause weight gain, swollen lips and face, ankles.
Biotin is a form of vitamin B found to be helpful for hair growth.
It is generally safe & does not cause any side effects when taken in doses of 10 mg daily.
I would advise you to take
Minoxidil 5% lotion to be applied over the affected area twice daily along with
Follihair tablets orally once daily.
This combination does not cause the side effects listed above.
The best results are seen only after 4-6 months of use of this combination.
Hope this answers your query.
A feed back is appreciated.
