Are There Any Side Effects Of Taking Lisinopril?

i am taking lisinopril for the last 5 days in the morining it makes me feel so bad tired and when i take my b/p in the moring its high but during the day its low. and whenever i take it my face gets tingly, my left side of my throat gets tight, i have to always swallow my face gets tight, i have pain in my legs and lower back,i get dizzy and chest gets a lil tight, i also have acid reflux and i am taking omeprazole, until i can get my nexium approved through my insurance and that makes me feel a lil funny at times do these to medications go well together? and should i continue the lisinopril

Lisinopril belongs to the group of antihypertensive medications known as angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors which is used in the treatment of high blood pressure or hypertension, heart attacks and heart failure. It works by blocking the substances in the body that tighten blood vessels, relaxing the blood vessels and lowering blood pressure.

Side effects of Lisinopril are angioedema or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, throat or other organs, low blood pressure or hypotension, dizziness, tiredness, fatigue, chest tightness or pain, body ache, muscle pain, GIT upset, loss of appetite, joint pain, indigestion, abdominal pain, bloating, cough, headache, electrolytes imbalance like hyperkalemia, increased blood sugar level, faintness, weakness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat etc. If these side effects persist for long or bother you, then you should consult your doctor first for medical help. Despite having of side effects, you should not stop taking this medication without informing your doctor first.
