Hi I am 39 years OLD and after 10 years of marraige this is the first time I got Pregnant (2.5 WEEKS) I have uterion fibroids on the outer wall. There was a little bleeding in the last to last week. i HAVE BEEN asked by my gynec to take anin 3 times daily, MCBM and GYNOFRESH . Please let me know more about this medicine and will it help to save my pregnancy
Hi , I have gone through your question. An in is allystrenol which is a progesterone which supports the pregnancy by making uterine environment more favourable for foetus. It is givenin cconditions such as pregnancy with fibroid, threatened abortion, spotting or bleeding in pregnancy. It is safe for fetus. MCBM is methylcobalamine which is vitamin B12 and is given by some doctor's as antenatal vitamin. It is also safe for the mother and fetus. Gynofresh is also a multivitamin, it's safety is not documented in studies. I would suggest you to start folic acid tablet along with other medicines as it prevents the congenital anomalies in the fetus and should be taken throughout first trimester. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Regards, Dr Deepti verma
