Addiction Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

It is a blood pressure medicine. It is by prescription and it isn't generally gotten from the street. So, if you are being prescribed a bp medicine, generally discussing how to safely keep the BP controlled but try another drug is a pretty common conversation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
