Are There Indicators Of Cardiovascular Constriction In EKG?
Hello, I am trying to sense a change in cardiovascular constriction due to emotional stress without measurements at any of the extremities (legs or arms) in an otherwise relaxed, sitting patient. Are there any indicators of cardiovascular constriction apparent in an EKG besides an increase in pulse rate? Thanks! Eric
Hi did review your concern. The sense of change in cardiovascular constriction you have been feeling can be pathologically called as palpitations or chest discomfort and it can be due to anxiety, stress, pheochromocytoma, hyperthyroidism, ischemia or arrhthymia and inrease in coffee intake. The ECG indicators are mostly increase in pulse rate and when ischemia or arrhthymia are present changes specific to them. i hope this helps. let me know if you have any more questions or concerns. I will be more than happy to help you. Wish you a very healthy life ahead.
