Are There Specific Symptoms When You Throw A Blood Clot?

Are there specific symptoms when you throw a blood clot? I have 2 OVT's and may also have Hughes syndrome. (I'm awaiting the results) I'm currently taking Xarelto for the next 4-6 months. Tonight I experienced a sharp pain on the lower left side of my abdomen. That pain radiated up to my shoulder and caused my left foot and left hand to tingle. It followed with a sudden all over sweat and a lightheaded feeling. I'm ok now but was curious as to what that episode was.
