Are Three Small Nodules In The Right Lung Base A Symptom Of Lung Cancer?
Worried about Lung Cancer.. Received the following from Doctor on a front and side view chest X-ray. Went for follow up CT scan today. Results in one week. Former Smoker who quite 5 months ago. Would like your comments on the below and the likely hood of lung cancer. Also have experienced weight loss of 10 lbs in one month and am fatigued. Thank you The lungs are clear. There are no infiltrates or effusions. Few small nodule is seen in the right lung base perhaps due to old granuloma. The questionable calcifications in the spleen perhaps due to old granuloma. The cardiac silhouette is unremarkable. The hila and mediastinum are intact. The regional skeleton is intact. IMPRESSION: Three small nodules in the right lung base suggest comparison with previous chest x-ray.
