Are Tight Tendons, Ligaments, Or Calf Muscles Indicative Of Arthritis?

I am a 56 year old man. I have occasions when the tendons or ligaments in my feet or hands tighten up. It feels like the joint is trying to move the wrong way. It is extremely painful, but eventually goes away and my feet and hands are normal again. I also have times when my calf muscles tighten up and the pain is almost unbearable and often happens at the same time as the toes cramping up. The pain never lingers for long, which is why I am not sure if it is arthritis or not. If you could give me some idea of what it is and how serious it is, I would appreciate it. Thank you for your help.

Hi.can understand your concern. As per your question,it looks like you're having muscle spasm which sometimes causes streching of ligaments and pain.As per your age you might have arthritis but to rule out this you have to go for a radiographic examination (x-ray)to rule out any degenerative and inflammatory changes in joints. For the time being you can use Aceclo-MR twice daily for pain and tightening of muscles.Do walking daily to be fit....I hope the information helps you.Take care.
