Are Tiny Scabs On The Stomach, Lower Back And Thighs Considered Serious?

Is there something I should be concerned with? I have very tiny scabs on my stomach area, some on my lower back and the back of my thighs. Some of the ones on my stomach when picked or drying off from a shower, they will bleed a little. Just seems strange

Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to scabies.

It is a skin infection caused by a tiny mite that burrows into the skin.

A visit to a dermatologist is needed to confirm the diagnosis and take proper treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
