Are Typhoid And Jaundice Together Life Threatening?

My sister was diagnosed with Tuberculosis last month and then she was running fever and diagnosed with typhoid. Yesterday she had chills and doctors discover she has jaundice as well. She is 29 years old. Is it life threatening? Please advice. What is the exact problem? What exactly is to be done?

Hai,
As your sister was diagnosed Tuberculosis one month back, her medication should last for 2 to 3 month depending upon the severity of the disease(tuberculosis.)
Regarding your concern about jaundice what type of jaundice it is (obstructive or infective hepatitis).

kindly confirm with your physician whether tuberculosis treatment got finished and she recovered from the symptoms. irregular and improper treatment will lead to relapse tuberculosis.

And confirm what type of jaundice with lab investigation. Kindly tale the advise from your physician for further management.
depending upon the type of jaundice treatment protocol will change.

thank you

Hope i answered your query.
