Are Vaginal Bleeding And Rectal Pain Normal After A Miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage 3 days ago at the beginning of my 8th week of pregnancy. I am still experiencing vaginal bleeding, but it has decreased. This afternoon I began to experience sharp shooting pains in my rectum. Are this related to my miscarriage? What should I do?
