Are Vaginal Burning And Itching Side Effects Of Using Faktu Cream?

Hi. I have hemorroid and it has drops of blood when i pass my vowel sometimes. But recently it has become so itchy ( after doing sitz bath regularly with salt & prep h) then i tried faktu. I just apply it around my anus. The first 24hrs with faktu, i suddenly have a slight burning & itch in my vulva/vagina area-- im not sure if faktu has caused it. Is there. Possibility? Then i have my menstruation that same day. It s making it hard for me to air dry my hemorroid with the menstruation on going.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It might be an allergic reaction to the cream. As of now clean the area with soap and water.

If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated. A vaginal swab may be required in case of diagnostic confusion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
