Are Vomiting And Abdominal Pain Symptoms Of Cancer?
I have spent the past week vomiting with abdominal pain. Just stopped yesterday still in pain. Went to ER 3 times. The final time they ran a CT/Contrast. I don t understand all of it but it says a lot of thickening of esophageal wall and gastric wall. Am I jumping the gun thinking this is cancer. I have scheduled an edoscopy but it s like 2 1/2 months away
The vomiting and abdomen pain can be from various issues of intestine or other body system as: - Chronic inflammation or infection - Stomach problems as gastric outlet obstruction or others - Narrowing of lumen of intestine, tumor or else - Cancer or else
It is best to undergo upper GI endoscopy at planned appointment till the time conservative medications with anti emetic and proton pump inhibitor would serve best cure.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
