Are Watery Stools With Low Grade Fever In A Toddler A Cause For Concern?

Hi, my son (3.2 year-old) has passed a watery stool , passing less urine, has 99.6° F fever, I immediately have him ibrufun and a zinc syrup with some diluted ORS (as he has refused to take concentrated one he asks for plain water) he has eaten his dinner well but it was before he had temp plz tell me of I m doing right and when should I worry ????

Hello,

The symptoms of the toddler seem to be related to a gastroenteritis.

I suggest using an over the counter option such as Imodium.

I also suggest giving daily probiotics and ors solution.

I recommend to give him a plain diet.
