Are Weight Loss, Yellow Stools And Fatty Liver Symptoms Of Pancreatic Cancer?
I have been having weight loss, yellow stools, early satiety, fatty liver, fatty pancreas, and gall stones. I fear a may have pancreatic cancer. what test should I take/ My gastro doctor told me schedule an appointment with him in six months. I am losing about a lb a week. what should I do?
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services. I have read your query and here is my advise.
* The constellation of symptoms indicating weight loss, yellow stools and fatty liver may be indicative of many possible issues as
- malabsoption disorders - inflammatory bowel issues as Crohn`s , IBS - primary or secondary enzyme deficiencies - biliary tract or pancreas disorders
* So just by these symptoms, it would be more panic thing to focus only on pancreatic cancer as many of the situations do pause similar clinical picture.
Do provide me rest of the reports of lab data, CT scan, ultrasound and else so that better co relative guidelines can be figured out.
Thank you. Regards.
