Hello, and I hope I can help you today.
Any woman who is having
unprotected intercourse is at risk for
pregnancy. However, you cannot conceive unless your boyfriend had some direct contact with your genital area with his penis or that he ejaculated inside the vaginal opening. Sperm dies when exposed to air, so you cannot get pregnant unless there is a good deal of wet semen introduced into your vagina.
In addition, pregnancy symptoms vary widely between women, and many of the symptoms we usually associate with pregnancy like
bloating, breast tenderness,
nausea,
fatigue, spotting and mood changes can happen in cases of
hormonal imbalances as well as pregnancy.
It is also normal to have white discharge at any time in your cycle as long as it doesn't itch or have odor. It is also not unusual to see increased vaginal discharge the next day or two after arousal or sexual activity
The most common (and reliable) sign of pregnancy is missing your period.
So, if you are not yet due for your period, I suggest you wait until it is due, and at that time if you are late, perform a urine pregnancy test if you still have concerns. A pregnancy test will only become positive at least 3 weeks after conception.
I hope I was able to adequately answer your question today and that my advice was helpful.
Best wishes,
Dr. Brown
