Please doctor my problem is that i had unprotected sex with someone who claimed he had HIV,i dont know if he is just trying to get me scared because he had some issues.he sent me some drugs on phone which include zolatex and co dydramol amongst others.but when i browsed the net for these drugs they are not for HIV patients.now am having loss of appetite.weight loss and fever,am scared to go for a test...just a week today.what are my chances please
Thanks for posting your query on HCM! These drugs are not used in the treatment of HIV infection (AIDS).
Zolatex is used in men to treat prostate cancer, in women to treat certain breast cancers, endometriosis, & to thin the lining of the uterus (endometrium) in case of abnormal uterine bleeding. Codydramol consists of two components Paracetamol and Dihydrocodeine: this combination is used to treat chronic pains.
In view of having unprotected sex with someone who believed to have HIV infection and the fact that your complaints of loss of appetite, weight loss & fever you must undergo the lab tests to rule out the HIV. You are advised to kindly consult a doctor for proper evaluation and treatment. Best of your health. Regards!
