Around 2pm I took about half of a 325 mg tablet of Percocet
At around 9pm I was reading a captioned photo to my husband over the phone, but when I tried to describe what was on the photo, I couldn’t think of the word “picture.” Instead, twice I said something that started with a P before I could think of the word. It was kind of freaky because I just couldn’t come up with a simple word.
It is now 10:30, and I haven’t had that problem since, but for about an hour I’ve had an odd slightly numb-ish feeling on the left side of my face. It feels normal when I touch it with my finger tips, but to just sit here it feels a little odd. Like a limb on the verge of falling asleep.
If the confusion hadn’t happened, I wouldn’t even be thinking about it, because it is not entirely numb. No drooping, I can smile, stick my tongue out. I’m not dizzy.

It seems like the medicine would have worn off after 7 hours, but I can’t help fearing the worst. I’ve been taking this medicine for a few weeks for chronic back issues, but I haven’t had this issue that I can remember.
