Baby Getting A Rash Like Nettle Stings. Rash Dies Down And Then Comes Back. Causes And Suggestions?

Hi, my baby is 14 months old and for the last 24hours she keeps getting a rash all over her that looks like nettle stings all over her body, it looks really sore and she is really uncomfortable. the rash dies down for an hour or so and then comes back twice as bad after a while??? have you any idea what is causing it?
she hasnt eaten anything different, but at the same time, hasnt really eaten anything over the last 2 days.

Hi,

It appears that your 14 mths old daughter is suffering from Urticaria.The reason for such allergies could be food,viruses,bacteria,pollens,dustmites,preservatives perfume,lotions,soap etc.

Since the reasons are plenty you will actually have to think over as to what was new for her like even change in any baby products or environment etc.

At present you could apply calamine lotion .If the rash is itchy then you could also give her an antihistamine .If she doesn't seem to be alright then get her examined by her doctor.
