Baby Having Sweating While Breastfeeding. Height, Head Circumference Fine. Sweating Sign Of Undetlying Disease?
Hello! Please help me,i need your advice.I m so much worried about my 6 month old baby,as everytime she sleeps and breast feeding she was sweating so much, particularly on the back of her head and cold sweat on the forehead . We have problems about her weightas well,as she is not gaining much. She is six months and she wieghts 5.7 kilo grams. Height and measurements of the head is fine. Doctors said she looks fine as she looks happy and strong. Is the sweating a sign of any diseases?
Hi ,
Thank you for your query.
Breast feeding is an exhaustive process for the baby.
Babies usually perspire after a long session of breastfeeding.
I hope there is no reason to worry.
You haven't mentioned the birth weight of the baby...so it is difficult to comment on her growth.
If your baby sweats profusely and leaves the nipple during feeding and has heavy breathing ask your doctor to recommend an echocardiograph of the baby.
If you have any further queries you are free to consult me.Hope this answers your query.Wishing your child a speedy recovery.Have a nice day.
Hi
I have gone through your complaints.
Actually breast feeding by a baby is a severe work.
The baby will be restless for few minutes after feeding. She will be tired .
Your baby weight is also normal for that age.
There is nothing to worry about.
Have a happy life.
