Baby Is Sleepless For Long Hours, Not Crying. Colimex Drops Was Prescribed For Constant Crying. What Needs To Be Done?

I have a 19 days old child and she has not slept since almost 8 hours now, after the feed when we try to put her to sleep, she seems a bit restless, lies down for few mins and then she is awake again and demands more feed.

Doc had advised for Colimex drops when she is constantly crying but in this case she is not constantly crying however not sleeping since almost 8 hrs.

Please advise what needs to be done.

hello, good morning..thanks for using healthcaremagic..I have gone through your history,it seems your baby is having some abdominal gaseous distension..she must not be feeling pain so she is not crying..u can give anti flatulent drops and burp the child properly..during initial few months babies become cranky for no reasons, they just want to be with their mother..so not to worry till he takes feed properly..just check if insects ,wetness is not bothering her...have a great day ahead..
