Baby Wakes Up Immediately, Makes Bad Faces, Moves Legs Towards Stomach. Giving Bonnisan
Hi,
I gave birth to a baby boy after completion of 35 weeks on oct 2 2013 . He was dlvred early through c sec as he had respiratory distress and had two loops of chord around his neck. Now my baby is 4 week old but he remains very disturbed at nights. Day time he sleeps and remains ok but after 12 pm at night he dosnt sleep and cries sometimes. After feed when i put him to sleep immediately after some time he gets up and makes bad faces and moves his legs towards his stomaxh till the time he dosnt take a huge buro or passes motion.heremains up all night. I have started giving him bonnisan after which he gets little settled. Can you advise if i have to gibe this daily or there is something else. Pl advise.

Most of the babies have this sort of problem up to 3 months'
It is due to normal peristalsis movements of the GI tract. They feel pain till they are used to it .
Usually Colicaid drops are prescribed for relief 4 times daily.
You may as well give Bonnisan also. It is an ayurvedic preparation to relieve abdominal pain in small babies
Usually this probem is relieved by 3 months of age.
