Back Pain, Thin Person, Healthy. Overlap In Wrist Test, Not In Thumb Test. Anything To Worry?

I have just heard about Marfan Syndrom. I have a 16 year old grandson. He is 6'3'' and extremely thin. I did the 'wrist' test, and he has quite an overlap. There was no overlap with the 'thumb' test. He complains of backaches, yet appears healthy in all other areas. He goes to bed about 9-9:30 each night. Any reason for concern?

Hi, it appears that he has genetic cause for height and thin stature. The thin stature can cause the back pain, or arthritis , or problem in the spine can cause the back pain. He may need to have M.R.I. spine for diagnosis.
So i advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
