Hi there, thanks for asking. Oxybutinin does not have any narcotic activity. It is a kind of parasympathetic agent and acts on several sites including on the nerves which stimulate spasm of the bladder. It may cause constipation in high dose and also may affect cognition in some people. In low dose it is generally tolerated. Best wishes.
