General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a physician and get evaluated. Bleeding disorders must be ruled out. As you age, your blood vessels become more fragile and there is always chance for echymosis and spontaneous bleeding. You can take vitamin-C tablets and fruits rich in vitamin-C like citrus fruits like orange.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
