Bad Itching In Clitoris, Anus, Vagina. Diagnosed Stage 2 Cervical Cancer, Undergone Radiation Treatment
my best friend wanted me to ask about her issue since she doesnt have internet. she is 5'8 130 lbs and has had two partners in the last month and her bf we dont know how many he has had. she has recently having very bad itching of her clitorois, anus, and vagina. she has also had itchiness and dark spot on her left thigh going toward her vagina. she is diagnosed with stage 2 cervical cancer and has undergone radiation treatments but ended in august
I am so sorry to hear about what your friend is experiencing.
From the symptoms and history of muktiple sexual partners, i will suggest that shhe get evaluated for possible sexually transmitted infection. Also, she should be investigated for a possible fungal infection like candidiasis. These symptoms may be linked to the cervical cancer but we need to exclude common infectious causes first. If they should return negative, then talk with her oncologist to see if these symptoms could be in relation with a possible extension of the cancer to surrounding structures.
Please, protection during sex and more so when you have multiple sexual partners is very good.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Dr. Ditah, MD
