Balding From Frontal Areas. Underwent FUT Hair Transplant. Can I Go For Transplant Again?
i am 27 year old guy.. I was balding from the frontal areas so I had undergone a FUT hair transplant last year by a very well known kolkata doctor. The hair growth in the transplanted regions arent bad after one year. However after one year i feel that i have also begun balding in the crown areas. Is it alright to go for hair transplant again?? I am a regular user of minoxidil 5 %.
Hi, thanks for your query. In hair transplant grafts containing hair follicles that are genetically resistant to balding are transplanted to the bald areas. It is usually done in case of androgenic alopecia. It is a minimally invasive procedure and done in local anaesthesia so complications are minimal.
Last year you underwent transplantion at the frontal areas, and you are happy with the results, you can go for hair transplant again in the crown area. This time you will be more receptive and less anxious. Along with this continue the treatment of androgenic alopecia, as it is progressing.
Hope this solves your query. You may write back in case of any doubts. All the best
