Bang On The Knee, Recovered From Bruise, Persisting Throbbing Pain On Touching, Numbness At The Point Of Impact. Remedy?
I am 20 years old and 135 lbs - About 3 1/2 weeks ago I was playing soccer and a larger man ran into the inside of my right knee really hard. It bruised up really badly. Now, the bruise is gone, but it still throbs when touched and it is numb where the impact happened. What does this numbness mean? What should I do about it?
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The mild numbness that you have is commonly seen after a bruise. There is nothing worrisome as the sensations return after few days without any treatment.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
