Base Ball Sized Swelling In Right Side Between Chest And Hip, Irregular Bowel Movements. Have Hep C. Problem In Liver?

I have swelling on my right side it's actually about the size of a base ball and it is mid way between my chest and hip but on my side it doesn't really hurt but is a little uncomfortable I haven't been having as regular of bowel movements lately so i wondering if something could be going on with my digestive system but I also have hep c type so I'm also wondering if it's my liver. Any thoughts?

Hi and welcome to HCM .Thanks for the query.
It can be hernia or any other subcutaneous lesion if located in abdominal wall. If intraadbominal then it may indicate abdominal tumors ,liver enlargement or some other less common lesions. I suggest to do ultrasound to verify this swelling as soon as you can. it may be related to your digestion problems too.
