Been Accidentally Kicked In Breast. Having Small Lump, Tenderness. Suggestions?
Hi..this question is actually regarding my boyfriends daughter. She s 14...she was wrestling around w/her mom a week or so ago & her mom accidentally kicked her in her breast ....now there is a small lump & she says it s tender to the touch. She never put ice or did anything when it first happened. Any ideas or suggestions?
Hi, It seems that due to hard kicking on the breast might have caused soft tissues injury to breast, leading to induration and some infection as well. She requires one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course after consulting your doctor. Try to start course as soon as possible other wise there is a chance to have abscess formation. Apply ice pack 2-3 times a day. Ok and take care.
There might be formation of hematoma which will gradually decrease with time keeping ice and using anti inflammatory drugs may help but if she is associated with any other symptoms suggests infection you need to consult you doctor for further advice.Thank you.
