Being On Birth Control And Having Taken Plan B Could I Be Pregnant?
if I am on the birth control called minastrin and the condom broke during sex, but I took the plan B pull within 30 min afterwards.. what are my chances of getting pregnant? I have been on this pill for 4 and a half months and my last period was 5 days ago.
I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.
You have used triple protection. Minastrin itself prevents pregnancy, additionally you have used condoms and also plan B. The contact itself occurred on day 5 of the periods which is a low risk period for getting pregnant.
All of these indicate that there is no chance of pregnancy. You are safe so stop worrying. You may have an irregular period due to plan B so that should not be an issue.
Hope that this provided an answer to your query. Thanks for using HCM. Have a good day. Dr Nilajkumar Bagde Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology
