Being On Remission From Stage II Breast Cancer, Seizures And Short Term Memory Problem, Should I Consider Working Again?
I am a RN who hasnt worked since 2004. Last licensed in CO.I am now in remission from stage II breast cancer and I still have some short term memory problems and also have seizures now. should I think about working again is it safe with the memory problems and health issues?
The presence of seizures and short-term memory problems is not related to Stage -II Breast Cancer. These symptoms can occur usually when there is spread of tumor to the brain. If your stage is definitely Stage II Breast Cancer then you should have a work-up for other causes of memory-loss and seizures. If they can be identified and cured then there will be no problems with resuming your work.
