Belching, Acidity, Nausea, Constipation, Diarrhea. History Of Acid Re Flux. Taking Pariet. Suggestions?
I have a couple spots in my stomach that are fizzing, excessive belching and gas, periodic nausea, and go from constipation to diarrhea. No fever or pain. an empty raw feeling that is relieved by eating something small. this has been for a month now. family doctor believes its an ulcer/s. I am 43 female with a history of acid reflux problems and have been on Pariet 20mg off and on for years and since symptoms began this time she has upped my Pariet to 40mg/day and Zantac 300mg once a day.
Hi, it appears to be the colitis, and probably the amoebic colitis, wit an alternative constipation and diarrhea. It will cause the gastric hyper acidity, and causing gas and loss of appetite. So i advise you to consult a gastro enterologist for diagnosis, and treatment. Thank you.
Do get your Upper gastrointestinal Endoscopy done. which will document the presence of ulcer and any other associated pathology can be ruled out. If starting the patient empirically on acid suppressing agents does not relieve the symptoms then time to go for Endoscopy. Take Care
