Bitter Taste In Mouth, Unpredictable Bowel Movements, Bloating, Abdominal Pain. Is Prothioden Available In India?
Ms. GOPA IYER from Kolkata (INDIA). Age 42. Irritable bowel syndrome . Acidity. Bitter taste in mouth in morning. Unpredictable stool / bowel. Comfortable sleep with cold milk at night. Otherwise sleepless. Occasionally bloating and pain in abdomen. Anemia ( Hemoglobin 8.5). Others (like hormone, liver function test ) normal. But problems with vegetables, oils. Anxiety. If prothioden is prescribed, please say under what name it is available in India.

Hello,
Prothioden is used for depression. You have to avoid milk related products and alcohol.
Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Avoid gluten contain food. Avoid alcohol and smoking.
If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
