General & Family Physician 's  Response

Hi,

Fluid in Pouch of Douglas (POD) indicates inflammation in the pelvic organs like uterus, broad ligament and pelvis in general.

Pus cells of 0-2, epithelial cells of ++ on urine routine are insignificant. These are normal findings.

No growth on urine culture means to say that there is no bacteria in your urine i.e. you do not have UTI (Urinary Tract Infection).

Hope I am clear.

Regards,
