Is Bleeding Between Periods Normal?

I just wanted to verify that my bleeding between periods is normal: usually I bleed 10-11 days after my period begins (although it doesn t happen every month) but the bleeding is quite heavy and lasts around 3-4 days, which on top my very heavy periods is quite uncomfortable. I m 20.

Bleeding between period called metrorrhagia.
Following are the causes: cervicitis, cervix and endometrial dyspalsia, endometritis, vaginitis, adenomyosis, fibroid, endometrial/vaginal polyp, PCOS, hormonal imbalance, bleeding disorder.
Consult the gynecologist and undergo following investigations:
reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan, endometrial biopsy, ovarian follicle study, PAP smear, colposcopy, BT, CT, APTT, platelet count.
Specific Treatment will depend on the cause.
