Bleeding During Intercourse For 10 Years. Tried Different Medication, No Results. Recommendations?
hi there i am 28 years old and i have had bleeding during inter course for the past 10 years... yes 10 years!?! ive seen so many doctors and they just tell me its normal and have just kept switching my birth control from one to another, recently i have found a doctor that recommended an IUD mirena so i got that done almost 4 months ago and the bleeding is still there its not just once in a while it is everytime. im not too sure what to do anymore? any recommendations?

Thank you for choosing Healthcaremagic. Bleeding during intercourse is not normal, the problem could be on the cervix. Most common causes are cervical erosion, any cervical polyp or any cervical growth. Anyways you need a speculum examination to see any local problem in vagina/ cervix. Also get a PAP smear done.

since you have this problem for 10 years,
i feel you must be having some mild form of bleeding disorder, meet nearest physician for this.
and about IUD, in your case IUD is not advisable, rather condoms or OCP are preferred.
