Bleeding During Intercourse, Painful, Was Ovulating. Is That The Cause ?

Hi I had sex with my husband a couple days ago like three days in arrow every time I bleed some during intercourse. It was somewhat painful. I know past month I was 8 days late on my period. According ton my ovulation calculator and EWCM I was ovulating. Is this what caused me to bleed? I have also had bad migraines lately. Or could I of had a miscarriage last month

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Bleeding during intercourse can occur for different reasons such as: (1) trauma during intercourse
(2)changes in the cervix
(3)cervical polyps which are outgrowths from the cervix
(4) infection
(5)uterine polyps

You may want to consider visiting your doctor for an evaluation which would include a pap smear if you do not have a recent one, pelvic examination and screening for any possible infections.
Treatment would depend on the findings of the examination.

I hope this helps
