Bleeding Form Penis, Squeezed Penis Hard. Will This Heal On Its Own?

I have a small amount of bleeding from my penis. It started when I got up from bed to go to the bathroom to pee and I got turned the wrong way in the dark looking for the bathroom. I didn't want to pee on the floor so I squeezed my penis hard until I finally was able to find the bathroom. Some blood came out with my pee. Will this heal OK on its own?

hi and thanks for the query,
This could be an indication of a lesion within the penis, and a problem certainly occurred at the level of the urethra. At this point, the most important is to avoid clotting within the urethra. The main advice now is mainly to increase the water and fluid intake. This shall help in flushing out any clots and should be coming back to normal. IN case of severe pain, Non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs or simple analgesics could help. If the bleeding continues after a few days, the opinion of a urologist could be needed. If not, for now, be calm and take abundant fluids (>5 litres daily). Kind regards
