Bleeding From Anus. No Constipation. Have Pain In Stomach, Do Heavy Lifting. Lump On Cheek. Advise?
Hi 3 times today when I have been for a pee there is a lot of red blood coming from my anus, happened once on a movement, but the rest are just when I pee. I haven't been constipated, and go regularly every day, I have slight pains in my stomach which feel like period cramps but are not. I do a lot of heavy lifting at work and noticed what feels like a lump appearing on my cheek but cant feel to touch. should I be worried im 43.
Hello, Thanks for contacting HCM. Even though you are not constipated, heavy lifting can aggravate hemorrhoids. This could be internal or external. Your seem to be internal and some times prolapses out side and that is when you notice the lump. Bleeding is of concern. You do need to see a proctologist or a gastroenterologist for an exam. Sigmoidoscopy or colonoscopy is in order since you are close to fifty and we have to rule out inflammatory bowel disease or polyps.
