Bleeding From Ears. Should I Increase The Dosage Of Polysporin Ear Drops? Crackling And Popping Sound From The Ear
I cleaned my ear canals gently this morning and have used some polysporin ear drops twice. After using some cotton swabs in my right ear, there is a spot of blood each time it comes out, very light. Wondering if i should take the prescribed two more doses of the drops or not. There is a lot of ear crackling and popping at the moment as well, and it sounds like there is static in that same ear.
Polysporin drops is to treat infection in the middle ear. Please avoid self cleaning, it will damage the supple skin inside the canal. If the drops has been advised for wax removal, please do not use it. Ear crackling and popping could be due to either opening and closing of the Eustachian tube (the tube connecting nose and the ear) or air passing through the accumulated wax in the external ear.
A thorough ear examination is beneficial in diagnosing the actual problem.
I wish you good health
Regards
