Blisters On Lip, Genitals After Oral Sex. Is The Partner Having Sex With Herpes Infected Person?
i am 52 years old female i have only had a few sex partners and have been with my present boyfriend for 3.5 years never had a blister on my lip or genitals before but just in the last 2 months if i perform oral sex i get a blister on my lip then following between 10-14 days i get blister on my genitals. does this mean that my boyfriend has had sex with a herpie infected person recently
I am not exactly sure about this. it could be a yes as well as a no. Herpes infection is recurrent and infectious each time new vesicles are present. if he had recurrence of vesicles, then an unprotected sex would expose you to having this infection. This could be a recurrence from an infection that has lasted so many years ago and so, cannot clearly distinguish it from a recent or longstanding infection.
Please, talk with your partner and be honest about it. He should tell you what the real story line is. Also, always try to use a means of protection every time you have sex. This is going to be very very helpful to you both.
