How To Treat Herpes?

I tested positive for herpes one after oral sex with a partner infected with herpes two. Is this possible and what do I need to do to treat herpes one if I have no symptoms? I also had sexual relations with this man is it possible that I will test positive for herpes two at some point? This all occurred about a month ago.

Thank you for asking Healthcare majic.
My name is Dr Ehsan Ullah &
I have gone through your query.

for your simple understanding
Herpes 1 is the oral
And This virus can be spread by skin-to-skin contact with an adult who carries the virus so
A person with HSV-1 (herpes simplex type 1) can pass it to someone else by:

Kissing.
Touching the person’s skin, such as pinching a child’s cheek.
Sharing objects such as silverware, lip balm, or a razor.

while
herpes 2 genital herpes is known as genital herpes
and
You can get genital herpes after coming into contact with HSV-1 or HSV-2. Most people get genital herpes from HSV-2, which they get during sex.

If someone has a cold sore and performs oral sex, this can spread HSV-1 to the genitals — and cause herpes sores on the genitals.

Regarding your question whether you need treatment or not if you have no symptom?
Yes.
you need to consult your physician for treatment since you have positive test report because of two aspects
1. It's beneficial for your own health in advance
2. you need consultation regarding preventive measures for the people whom you wanna have sex since you can transmit this infection ... drugs and preventive measures like
a) Use of Latex condoms
b) Informing your sex partner before having sex
redues the risk although it's still not 100% Safe.

your 3rd Qs was regarding whether you can have Herpes 2 or not, it depends upon sexual contact and using shared items which i mentiond already ... usually oral sex is associated with HSV 1 .

Just get consultation with you physician
for
Preventive measures
&
Treatment. in the form of anti-viral therapy
(e.g Acyclovir)

Some Home remedies
-to prevent dehydration , Use plenty of water
-Use acetaminophen (Tylenol, Panadol) or ibuprofen (Excedrin, Advil, Motrin) for fever and muscle aches.
-Avoid contact with the lesions and lesion secretions

And you must consult your healthcare physician as priority.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear and kindly write a review so that i should see how much my answer helped you.
