Blockage In Throat, Spitting Blood. Took Allegra, Antibiotics. What Do You Suggest?

I have a blockage on throat and one day when i spit there was a string like blood in the spit.I Consult a doctor and he said that i have a granular throat and given me antibiotic & a drug called allegra 120.i was ok but after 2 months the said thing has relapsed and yesterday when i spit there was blood twice but after that the spitting are normAL.PLEASE SUGGEST. I SMOKE 2 CIGARATES DAILY AND DRINK OCCASIONALY.

I have gone through your query regarding blood in sputum and you are feeling blockage in throat. Blockage in throat indicates either there is swelling (oedema) or any growth.

Oedema may appear due to acidity, infection (bacterial or viral) whenever odema is associated with small ulceration there are chances of blood in sputum, on the other hand growth till it is small in size it gives only feeling of blockade and as soon as this gets infected or hert bleedilg may occur from growth.

Therefore you are advice to consult any ENT doctor for thorough examinationof throat and chest to find out the cause of blockage in throat and possible cause of bleeding. So that accordingly it may be treated.

The blood appears to be from the throat, that is inflamed - allergic or infection
See your ENT specialist again...

You have not stated your age, gender, personal habits, family history or co-morbidities
Since it is recurrent, have some basic investigations - X-ray chest and sinuses, Blood counts, bleeding diathesis...

For the long term, it is wiser to stop tobacco and alcohol...
