I am a 15 year old girl and yesterday at lacrosse practice i noticed a blood blister on the underside of one of my fingers. I have never gotten one before and am not sure what to do about it. Should i pop it? I realize that it may get irritated because i will be continuing to use my hands for lacrosse and other things in school. How should I treat it?
hello....welcome to health care magic the blood blister could be a friction blister or a bruise (bleeding in the skin ) developed because of lacrosse practice. Aspirate it under the care of physician and keep the skin intact at place. Do platelet count if possible and avoid trauma.
