Blood Flow Around Heart Low, Rapid Heart Rate, Difficulty Breathing, Numbness, Dry Mouth. What Is Going On?
I'm having a problem with my heart when I go sleep . I just feel like blood is not flowing properly around my heart . While I'm sleeping all of a sudden I wake up with heart beating fast , difficult to breathe , my arm and fingers goes numb , my forehead gets heavy and my mouth gets very dry it's a very horrible feeling its been going on for awhile .
Dear Sir It is not uncommon to have high heart rate/ palpitation and other features of sympathetic overactivation for a while, when you wake up suddenly. This is especially true for early period of sleep. However it may be a sign of heart disease depending upon your profile and clinical examination. This is particularly true if shortness of breath is predominant and persistent. Please see a physician and get yourself examined. Sincerely
