Blood In Stool.

Hi, I am a 21 year old female and for the past few weeks I have been noticing blood in my stool and having trouble going #2 because it is painful. I am a vegetarian but am very active and have plenty of fiber in my diet. What could be wrong with me?

Hi,thanks for query.You might have fissure ,that is cut in your anal region which leads to bleeding when stool is passed due to friction.Please visit a doctor and take treatment for this.This will not cure without treatment.Avoid maize products,take some laxative which can make your stool soft.
